Postcard: Sarasota Jungle Gardens, 1958

I've done all I can do to make this postcard as vibrant as it is in real life, but I'm afraid those flamingoes just aren't as Pepto-pink as the real thing! I thought this big of exotic Floridian beauty was the perfect thing during this awful June Gloom we're having here in San Francisco. Our summertime fog is in full effect, and it feels like a constant migraine. Ugh! Here's to bright flowers and pink birds!
