Postcard: Waikiki Beach, Hawaii

"Waikiki Beach, Hawaii. A Hawaiian catamaran fronts a look along the beach with Diamond Head in the background."
I've been collection views of Waikiki Beach looking toward Diamond Head for a few years now. Even though it may be the most touristy part of Hawaii, it's still a spectacular view and I can't get enough of it. I have a few cards that date back to the 1940s when the only hotels were the Sheraton Moana and the Royal Hawaiian. As the postcards get newer, more and more hotels spring up along the beach, which makes dating them that much more fun.
I have a few friends heading to Hawaii this weekend for a wedding, so I thought this was just the thing for this week...
This card is from July, 1973 and the message reads "Aloha from Hawaii - Having a grand time."
