As we head into the season of Chinese New Year, I thought it was only right to share this amazing postcard from San Francisco's own Chinatown, postmarked in 1956. Tomorrow morning (Thursday) marks the beginning of the lunar new year, the year of the Rabbit. A friend of mine told me that if you eat something sweet first thing in the morning, the entire year will be sweet. Now that's a nice thought, no?
